UM to Start New Schedule for 2014

Upstate of South Carolina - As we enter our fourth year of existence as a support group, Upstate Monarchs will be starting 2014 with a new Speaker schedule with our two Community meetings in Anderson and Greenville, South Carolina. We varying our community Speaker schedule to more responsive to our members schedule.
In January, we had a Community Meeting in Anderson, South Carolina on January 8th at 6 PM. Since New Year's Day occurred on Wednesday, we didn't not have a Greenville meeting in January. First Wednesday is the normal time of the Greenville Community Meeting.
In February, there will be a Greenville Community meeting on February 5th at 5 PM. There will not be a speaker for the Anderson Meeting in February. We will have a Anderson meeting the normal location and provide group information. This is in case we have any new members who may have heard or seen previous scheduling about our monthly meetings.
In March, we have our annual emphasis on National Lymphedema Awareness Month, and our plan is to have both Anderson and March Community Meetings with featured speakers. Details on those plans will follow later this month. After March, we will go back to an alternating Speaker schedule for April (Anderson), May (Greenville), and June (both Anderson & Greenville). July will not have either a meeting for either community to the holiday schedule and our normal practice.
We will evaluate this schedule emphasis in a future Board Meeting later this year. Our first UM Board meeting will be on January 29 at 5 PM at Earth Fare's Community in Greenville. Please see our group calendar for additional information about our meeting schedule.
