Here is the Meeting schedule for 2018:

Dear Friends,

We are excited about the upcoming year for our support group. We hope you will come to our activities and spread the word to others who might benefit from Upstate Monarchs.

All meetings will take place at the Community Room at the Millennium Campus of St. Francis Hospital.

Schedule of Meetings:

Tuesday, March 13, 2018, from 5:30-7:00pm

Speaker: Kim Neel, Owner of Alala Company, a compression/mastectormy boutique in Columbia, SC. She is a breast cancer survivor, a lymphedema activist, and will update us on the progress of the Lymphedema Treatment Act. A meal will be provided by our sponsor, Aeroflow.

Tuesday, March 27, 2018

Debbie Smith, therapist at Smith Therapy, will be speaking, from 10:00 to 11:00am, at the St. Francis Millennium Campus Community Room. Her topic will be "Lymphedema, Lympha What?"

Topic: Lymphedema, an Overview

A meal will be provided by our sponsor, For Every Woman.

Tuesday, September 11, 2018, from 12:00-1:30pm

Speakers: Janet Hundall and Jamie Campbell, on their journey facing Lipedema and Lymphedema.

Tuesday, December 10, 2018, from 5:30-7:00 pm

Holiday Mixer with refreshments, Location to be determined.

Reminder: We ask that members of Upstate Monarchs pay $24 per year to defray some of our expenses. Please give cash or a check to Debbie Smith.
